Welcome

Welcome to the Rock Springs United Methodist Church website. Please stay awhile… explore, get in touch with us, or visit in person to see what we're all about.
Built on the Word of God and a strong tradition of love and service, Rock Springs United Methodist Church sits on a peaceful hill…conveniently located at 227 Church View Drive, just one mile from Exit 6 off Interstate 26, in the Rock Springs community of Kingsport, Tennessee.
We seek to lift up the name of Jesus through learning, worship, giving, and service, and we welcome you to visit on Sunday mornings. We have several Sunday school classes beginning at 10am, and Worship begins at 11am. During Worship Service we offer children's church. We also offer Sunday evening worship at 6:00pm. We have Bible Studies on Monday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday evenings for different age groups. Everyone is welcome here. We pray you will stop by, and we look forward to meeting you!
Please, come as you are ! There’s no need to stress about dress. On Sunday mornings, some wear dress pants, skirts or dresses, others wear jeans and sneakers. The order of service is traditional, and the church is made up of people of all ages. We seek to honor God and reach out to the community.
A loving and nurturing atmosphere...We love children - You may choose to keep your children with you in the sanctuary, (where we offer a "children's chat" during worship). Or allow us to take them to “children’s church” where they will learn about Jesus in a safe and caring atmosphere. Your children are always welcome!

For the entire month's Worship synopses
Jesus healed a woman who had been disabled in spirit for 18 years. And he healed her. We all know someone who has been bent low by the troubles in this life. How can we lift burdens that people carry? Or are we, like the religious leaders of Jesus’ day, more content to stay on the sidelines and criticize how others are doing it?
